Who we are...
From our humble beginnings amidst the afternoon sun in Centennial Park one day in 1994, the Plymouth FOP lodge 195 has been dedicated to the service to our community and our members. We strive to make a positive impact within our community through the many activities to which we dedicate ourselves. We recognize the priorities we have in our lives, and strive to support our membership and community through the projects we undertake.
Where we've been...
Since our incorporation, FOP lodge 195 has been actively involved in community service projects. We understand the key to a better tomorrow is through the youth of today--and supporting the development and well-being of our children is a vital part of what we do. From projects like the highly successful Shop-With-A-Cop project, which in 2008 took over 300 children shopping for Christmas, to the Pack-A-Backpack program, FOP 195 supports those children in our community that otherwise would have to go without. A fundraising campaign and community project, the annual car show, always brings many enthusiasts to the Plymouth park for a day of enjoying hot rods from the past and dream cars of today...a wonderful opportunity for area car buffs to enjoy the day, event, and their families.
Where we're going...
One of the first sponsorships FOP 195 was involved in was Plymouth Little League Baseball, again showing how vital we feel involvement in our community is. We are dedicated to continue our involvement in area athletics and sponsorships. As we look into the future of FOP 195, the members and board of directors want to continue the fine tradition of service to our friends, co-workers, and neighbors. Projects like a law enforcement memorial, a members scholarship fund, and expansion of the Backpack and Shop-With-A-Cop program top the list. With the continued help of our fine community, members, and families, the future of Plymouth FOP is bright and strong!
